Welcome to Santa Rosa Catholic Church

COVID-19 Update:

Flu season is around the corner. Simultaneous outbreaks of flu and COVID-19 will drain the state’s health care resources. I’m asking everyone to be very much aware of the threat posed to all of us from Coronavirus and how much danger it poses to members of our own community.

Following the directives from our Archdiocese Offices, I ask that everyone

  • Who feels ill stay at home and not come to Mass.
  • Practice Social Distancing
  • NO gatherings at any of the parish premises, including before and after mass
  • Wear a Face Mask at all times
  • Use Sanitizer

I thank you in advance for your efforts to avoid the spread of the virus in our community. Fr. Alberto

Instructions for your safety, the priests and others.

We are now authorized to celebrate holy mass without any limited amount of attendees, but continue with the social distance and safety regulations. Please arrive from 30 to 20 minutes before mass start.

Please have in mind that in order to avoid the spread of this dangerous virus please respond to the following instructions.

  • Please people who are 65 or older and those with serious medical conditions are encouraged to stay at home and participate in the liturgies through our Livestream Masses. Archbishop Jose Gomez has given general dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass until further notice.
  • Maintain Social Distance.
  • Masks to be worn at all times.
  • Wash your hands prior of coming into mass.
  • Use hand sanitizer – Dispensers are located at the entrance.

Did You Know?

Do you know what to do if someone is choking?

Choking is one of the leading causes of accidental death, but many people do not know what to do if someone is choking near them. If a person is coughing, grabbing his or her throat, or passed out with no explanation, he/she could be choking. Utilizing abdominal thrusts, also known as the Heimlich maneuver, could prevent suffocation. Parents should be knowledgeable as to how to perform this maneuver, and if possible, should attend a CPR training course so they are prepared, in the event that a child or adult is choking.
